Agriculture Committee.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Agriculture Committee’s website. We hope that you will find the information available here - including the committee's planned interim studies, committee reports and news, the sections of law under the committee’s oversight, and links to other agricultural sites - to be useful and interesting.

Our state was founded on the strength and traditions of agriculture production. These traditions are the building block for our communities. From the shadows of Chimney Rock to the banks of the
Missouri River, our farmers and ranchers are the best you will find anywhere. The importance of agriculture in Nebraska and the United States continues to grow. Our farmers and ranchers continue to produce high quality food, fiber and products that keep our nation strong and help feed a hungry world.

Sen. Philip Erdman
There are many opportunities that await Nebraska agriculture if we can effectively work together to create a common vision for our farm families and the communities in which we live. It is my honor to work with you in establishing that vision for our state.
